I have a bt home hub 4 with openreach modem and have just bought a Netgear D7000 router to help with the internet as we have more than 10 devices connect to the wifi. I was advised the D7000 was the best one to get and would work with BT Infinity openreach modem no problem. You need to press it in firmly and try to pull the front moulding of the case forwards around the back moulding, pulling the back moulding out towards the side which will release the clip inside.

You can give each wi-fi band different keys so the ipads will only connect to one band. Dual band gives you 5GHz and thus less wireless congestion so is a nice addition.
