WebDec 17, 2013 · I noticed my rpm gauge was fluttering around abnormally also. I checked the code and it was showing P0335. I had it into my mechanic , and the connector that plugs into the crank sensor was corroded. I picked up a new connector and had him solder it on for me and the rpm gauge stopped acting funny. I'm still getting this knocking/diesel sound ...
